About us
CandelTEC performs laboratory tests on lighting and light signaling products, measurement and evaluation of lighting installations, calibration of luxmeters radiometers, luminancimeters and spectroradiometers, optical design and photometric and radiometric simulation, training, advice and technical consulting. Our activity includes the provision of services and the development of projects in optics for the development of products or applications, especially in issues related to lighting, ultraviolet or infrared radiation.
CandelTEC, since July 21st, 2017, is part of the network of laboratories accredited by ENAC (assigned accreditation code 1265 / LE2410).
Since November 12, 2021, candelTEC expands its accredited services, the candelTEC calibration laboratory becomes part of the
calibration laboratories accredited by ENAC (assigned accreditation code 274 / LC10.238).
What kind of products can we test in the lab?
Luminaires and in-door projectors, road or urban lighting, emergency luminaires, traffic lights and beacons, signaling systems, railway light signals, horticultural luminaires, safety indicators on machines, toys and any other product that integrates any lighting element.
What types of equipments can we calibrate?
We calibrate luxmeters, luminancemeters, colorimeters, spectrophotometers, radiometers (visible and UV) and photodetectors as thermopiles.
How else can we support you?
Design of optical components
and
photometric and radiometric simulation of products, especially for lighting or light signaling applications. We can generate IES and LDT photometric photometric files and work with them generating lighting projects, according to the requirements of each installation.
In-situ testing,
at your facilities, both indoors (shops, offices, industrial areas or museums) and outdoors (street lighting, tunnels, sport facilities), measuring the photometric or radiometric parameters required for the evaluation of a project area in terms of luminous characteristics.
Product evaluation according to
sky protection directives
and prevention of light pollution.
Calculation of PAR radiation
in horticulture: product characterization, planning and evaluation of installations, optical simulation of projects.
Other services, such as technical advice or personalized training, adapting the contents and structure of courses fitting the requirements and needs of our clients.
